Conor’s bio

(Gaeilge):

Is as Baile Locha Riach ó dhúchas é Conor Ó Fathaigh. Chaith sé cúpla tréimhse thar lear agus b’ansin a fuair sé a shuim sa Ghaeilge arís. Bhí suim aige sa cheol i gcónaí agus sheinn sé le roinnt mhaith bannaí ceoil áitiúla thar na blianta. Oibríonn sé mar mhúinteoir bunscoile sa lá atá inniu ann agus tá sé ag cur faoi arís i mBaile Locha Riach lena chlann ón 2018.

(English):

Conor is a native of Loughrea. Having spent a couple of spells abroad, he gained a new-found appreciation for the Irish language and has been immersing himself in the language ever since. He has always had an interest in music and has played with many local bands over the years. Conor is back living in Loughrea with his family since 2018 and now works as a primary school teacher.

Brian’s bio

(Gaeilge):

Brian Ó Meacháin

Is as Co. Uíbh Fháilí é Brian ó dhúchas ach tá cónaí air i mBaile Locha Riach ó 2005 i leith. Feictear go minic é ar an ardán go háitiúil le Cumann Córúil agus Drámata Naomh Breandáin agus go háirithe leis na Seumas O’Kelly Players. Is múinteoir é Brian i nGaelscoil Riabhach agus feiceann sé an tábhacht a bhaineann le spéis a chur i réimse leathan ábhair: daoine, teangacha, cultúir, spórt, na healaíona, ceol, agus gan dearmad a dhéanamh ar phíosa craic a bheith agat ar an mbealach!

(English):

Brian is a native of Co. Offaly but has been living in Loughrea since 2005. Since that time he has appeared regularly on local stages with St. Brendan’s Choral and Dramatic Society and especially with the Seumas O’Kelly Players.
