Loughrea Community Radio is run entirely by a volunteer committee. The members come from all walks of life with differing levels of experience and background.

 

What brought us together was a common dream to create a strong united community feel within Loughrea in order to make it a great place to live, work and visit. 

 

What binds us together is a joint passion for bringing this project forward and providing first class entertainment and news for our listeners.

 

Our ultimate aim is to provide Loughrea with two days of broadcasting via an FM wavelength - made up of music, discussion, documentaries and news. As such we intend to be a valuable tool for bringing the Loughrea community closer together and provide a crucial link for the diaspora.
